IMPORTANT: This TDM takes place on the current world the coven is part of. Please read the linked Google Doc about the world AND be aware that the world is high-frequency, meaning canon magic and powers can be used.

TDMs can be used for anyone interested in the game and/or testing out a new muse.

Test Drive samples are encouraged to be used for your application sample, though they are NOT a requirement.

Feel free to use one prompt, multiple prompts or make up your own!

These threads can be considered game canon upon game opening if you so choose.

Telepathy and magic can be used at any point in time on the TDM, from Prompt A to your wildcard prompt. A specific prompt exists, however, that makes sure all characters have an equal chance to use this mechanic within the TDM. You're encouraged to have characters use telepathy and their magic accidentally or even purposefully on any TDM prompt.

If you aren't set on your character's power yet or want to try out a few, you're still able to use the test drive. Maybe your character is a late bloomer and hasn't fully unlocked their intuitive drive yet. In the case of multiple powers, only prompts that contain the power you choose for your application will count as potential game canon threads.

While only one character can be apped or reserved during a cycle, feel free to post with more than one character if you like! This is for those who are uncertain of their first choice or who would like to try out different characters within the setting.

WORLD ONE: AIMINTAS

You blink and that's all it takes. At first the picture doesn't come in clear, like you're waiting for a screen to fully load -- more aptly, it's like you're waiting for a camera to focus so you can find image clarity. Before you happened to rapidly close your eyes and open them, your life was normal...well, normal for you, anyway. Fighting an alien, making a quesadilla, dying. And then that blurry picture suddenly takes over... Some of you might open your eyes to find yourself wandering around a sandy area, outside of a large stone house. There's a large glimmering caravan floating around outside, which might intrigue you. There's also a lot of supplies, food, clothing...all just laying around outside. It's worth investigating, right? A ▢ Your character has found themselves arriving right outside the coven's new digs in Aimintas, and there's a lot of confusing stuff to look at. Th ocean in the sky, that floating caravan...your character probably can't get to that ocean, so they may want to examine the caravan. If they touch it, they'll immediately regret that decision -- the caravan has its own defense mechanism, and you can pick one or the other: - A1: Once your character touches the caravan, they can't remove their appendage from it. Kick it? Their foot is stuck. Touch it? Their hand is stuck. Lick it? Their tongue is stuck. They'll remain like this for 15 minutes without magical intervention. - A2: Your character's hand doesn't stay for long, but the caravan holds onto that hand for five seconds while giving your character a pretty excruciating burn. Medic! B ▢ Maybe they're smart and they don't touch the caravan. Let's go through all of this cool stuff on the ground! It might be sort of obvious that it belongs to someone -- a lot of someone's -- but your character is thirsty, confused...maybe there's some water or answers in this pile. And maybe there's also someone who catches your character going through their shit.

Other new potential coven members will find themselves in a completely different part of town. These lucky individuals will have suddenly appeared in the marketplace area of Aimintas, surrounded by walking lizard beings that suddenly turn and take an immediate interest in this stranger. C ▢ The Palai are very interested in the new coven members, and a new humanoid person -- or anyone that doesn't look like them -- will immediately catch their attention. They'll immediately find your character worth of their undivided attention, talking to them about coven-related things...pretty confusing right? If you need help with the short lizard folk, maybe someone will eventually arrive to help you out. On the other hand, you might learn something interesting talking to them. A friend might join in either way! D ▢ Once you break free of the Palai, you'll find that this marketplace is pretty interesting. It's a mixture of primitive and semi-modern technology...or is it totally unfamiliar to you? Never seen a cellphone before? Unfamiliar with the concept of women wearing pants? There's certainly something to see that'll interest your character here. E ▢ Finally, you might be hungry and thirsty after suddenly appearing. The Palai are masters of making food, including a new concoction of theirs that they're trying out in honor of all the new people. It's a sort of bottled fruit juice that has been energized by the Eltos. It's essentially the first Aimintas Red Bull, except on acid. The drink immediately makes anyone who drinks it extremely giddy, hyper and they may potentially hallucinate. It doesn't seem to bother the Palai's biology, but everyone else...oops!

The setting found in Aimintas is pretty expansive, so you have a lot of room to wander around. Here are a few things that might catch your eye if you're really committed to wandering around. F ▢ A house near the marketplace is incredibly special to the Palai people. Characters who wander near here will find a group of Palai who are even more excited about their new visitors: baby Palai. Some are still in eggs and kept inside, but the juvenile Palai are about two feet tall, rowdy and want to play with these new, bipedal creatures. Some of them still crawl around on all fours and are more lizard-like than others. Hope you're good with kids! G ▢ The Palai have constructed a large library in the middle of town. If you wander in here, you'll find a myriad of books in a strange language. The Palai are a rather visual people, though, so many include pictures and illustrations. They also have a collection of computers here that connect to the Aimintas internet, as well as visual media stations that can play videos -- though they're really just powered tablets that play video files. Time to get a little taste of the Palai culture. H ▢ Wildcard prompt. Go nuts and utilize your own creativity within the setting. This can mean striking out on your own or utilizing a certain location in a different way. The world is your oyster!

[Are you having some trouble with the caravan? Got stuck? Not to worry! A cute young lady is here with a teacher's pointer in hand. She's got a devilish smile on her face as she taps her instrument against her palm, inspecting your situation with the air of a child watching an insect go about its business.]

Fufu, it seems like your greed is being paid back tenfold. That's simply karma. But you don't have to worry! The fantastic and charming BB-chan is here!

[Ah... is she really going to offer help?

She slaps the pointer against her palm. Hard.]

If you grovel juuuuust a tiny bit, I'll open my heart a crack. Just for you, you hopeless pig.

[From what she can tell, this world is "real." No traces of an artificial presence can be detected -- which means the Moon Cell isn't involved in her current predicament. BB can't remember being transported, either. If a rayshift had occurred, she would have noticed for sure...! Nothing got past her watch! (Or at least, she wants to think that.)

There's nothing else she can do save for bumbling forward. It's frustrating and embarrassing to work without a clear plan, but if there's one thing that can be said about BB, it's her resilience.

... there's a lot less humans wandering around than she'd expected, though. And this place looks awfully sandy. Which means:]

An interstellar beach episode, huh...

[That's not what any sensible human being would say but BB isn't human and she's the furthest thing from sensible. She examines some swimsuits on display, hand pressed to her mouth.]

[It's not greed so much as curiosity that killed the cat, or rather the frazzled-looking boy whose... hair is currently stuck to the side of the caravan. Mostly he just wanted a look at the bottom to see what could possibly be causing something so big to float like that, maybe examine some of the carvings, and then he brushed against the damn thing and-- Well.

Here they are. Lenka can't really give her a proper bemused look from the angle he's stuck bent over at, but at least... the angle kind of looks like he's groveling?! He's not really sure why she's slapping her palm with the pointer like that, either. It seems kind of like a threat.

He's not sure what he's being threatened with....... why is this so dramatic, he feels stupid enough already.]

... I was just looking. [grudgingly, he doesn't snap at her because she's the only one who's noticed the issue] What would you opening your heart do?

[Seriously, what the hell is she talking about.]

[You dummy. Recognize when you're being bullied. You're thicker than frozen syrup-- those are the words running through BB's mind, though she doesn't give voice to them. Sometimes, what you say doesn't get quite through to the audience the first time. In times like these, you just gotta persevere!]

Oh, and clueless at that! Some girls see that trait as a charm point in boys. Unfortunately for you, BB-chan prefers someone who can keep up with her. That's the modern woman for you!

[... SHE'S GETTING OFF-TOPIC!]

I thought I made it preeeetty clear. I guess I gotta hold your hand through this, even though we aren't even dating. You're terrible, Stranger-san!

[BB jabs her pointer his way.]

[The smile freezes in place. Her entire countenance changes. If she was acting as an observer earlier, she is now the tormentor. A complete role reversal has occurred in the snap of a finger and there's a vicious glee in her eyes.]

Beg for my help, you miserable ant.

[He comes from a military background, BB, instructive bullying is just a matter of course! Which is mostly why he's confused, actually: if someone's going to rag on him, he's used to it being more practical ragging. This girl just seems like she... really likes hearing herself talk, or has a really bizarre way of flirting. Either way spells trouble.

... But he's also still stuck, so it's not like he can back away from her like he's starting to want to do. Instead, he slowly lowers one knee, like he's about to consent to her mysterious high-handed demands. But actually, he's just trying to take the pressure off his scalp; now he can turn his head a little easier, he does give her a Look, both wary and kind of deadpan.]

Do you talk like this to strangers all the time? [just saying] And it's not clear. You talk a lot about help. You haven't told me what you can do.

[So really it just sounds like she's blowing a lot of hot air to him, as intimidating as she can be. He has in fact met scarier women, even if he wasn't stuck headfirst to a magical vehicle at the time.]

I can't play with you properly if I kill you, Mr. Green Tea ❤ As powerful as the lovely BB-chan is, she's decided that having her full powers here would be unfair to all the other heroes! A good last-boss kouhai can only serve as a last-boss if there's a slim, sliiiim chance of beating her. Even if that chance is a mere 0.0000000001%. So if I break you, I can't promise that I'll put you back together. Understand?

[Her smile is awfully cold. But since they're both Servants from Chaldea now--]

If you do, I want to ask you about a few things.

[He takes a moment to seriously contemplate this. There are worse fates than dying, after all...

...But ultimately, he grimaces and prepares himself for some very unpleasant questions.]

I'm not gonna promise to answer them, but go ahead and ask.

Because honestly, he's completely ignoring her right up until she calls him a pig, at which point he's willing to give her his attention.]

You should take care, child. We so often take acts as simple as speech for granted...only after we lose it, do we realise its true value.

[Make no mistake he's threatening to cut out her tongue.]

[............ A LAST-BOSS KOUHAI ALWAYS BUMBLES THROUGH, NO MATTER THE TWISTS THROWN AT HER!

Which is to say! There is absolutely no way! She's going to back down! Even if her self-preservation protocols are warning her that this may not be the wisest move!

Truthfully, she can't help herself. This is merely a part of her character. Sadism comes naturally to her and is something she doesn't need to overact. Regardless of her target, BB would still speak with open impudence if she deemed it necessary.

And let's be real. A Grand Servant rendered stuck by a measly security spell? That's funny enough to comment upon. More importantly is the fact that a Grand Servant is here to begin with.]

But Hassan-san ❤ Seeing you like this feeds into my nurturing personality as a kouhai. To lend a helping hand while stepping on the person's face is like breathing to me, y'know? You're on a whole different level compared to most Servants, though. Just like me! So I wonder--

[She taps her pointer against her cheek now.]

[It isn't something he can deny, really. Maybe in another time, another place, their respective roles may have pitted them against one another as equals. Regardless of how she behaves, and how distasteful he finds it, he can put his feelings aside - well, he has to, always - and acknowledge that much.

It doesn't mean he's happy about it though.]

I would imagine in a similar fashion to thine own, spirited away with little warning and no explanation to be found.

[He looks back to the caravan, pulling at it.

...of course he can't pull himself free, so the caravan actually pulls with his hand. It's even easier to move since it's floating.

But he's not about to leave with the whole thing glued to him.]

[ Gokotai is fine, it's Torakun's tail that's stuck to the caravan, You know, that cat thing where their tail sweep against everything? Yeah. Giant tiger is less than pleased, headbutting Gokotai to do something. He may be a little teary at the pig comment. ]

Um... Please help us, BB-chan!

[ He can actually bow to the floor though, while Torakun just sits. Torakun meanwhile expresses the inner feeling of "did she just call us pigs?" Excuse you, Princess Moon Cancer. Still, Gokotai gently pushes the tiger's head a little lower. ]

[That's such a cute tiger... and a cute teary face. Young as Gotokai looks, BB isn't going to hold back on her cruelty. An AI has to be fair when dishing out punishment!

She waves her pointer around as if she's a teacher.]

Good job! Your efforts have been noted -- BB-chan loves it when you try hard! So let's try it one more time, okay? With spirit, let's all say:

[ He's doing well? That's almost comforting if it weren't a... wait why is he being (fairly in terms of demographic) punished? ]

[ The tiger made an attempt and roared it. But Gokotai made a serious effort, rubbing away his tears to look less like a soft little sword spirit! Surely, he worth as much as a silver servant in BB-chan's eyes! ]

Do you... have a spell to unstick Torakun's tail?

[On one hand, it's not often that people go out of their way to pick on the heir of a multibillion dollar company. Even funnier is her accusation. Greedy! As a man who has everything, Jumin's far from it. With all these new experiences he's begun to associate with this encounter, in a way, he could call this meeting with BB refreshing.

On the other hand, she called him a pig.]

Hm. It appears that I am being bullied. True, I could ask for your help. But humor a child and she becomes a spoiled brat who has no mind for manners.

[Being called a brat is far from the worst thing she's heard. BB's smile doesn't waver one bit. She's acting not out of need to impress her Senpai, but out of the desire to play. Sadism is a natural part of her; Jumin is unfortunately the outlet which she's looking to use.]

As expected from a human. Here I am, offering you my hand, and you've bitten it! Wooow. Don't you think you should be more grateful that I've stooped down to talk to you?

[No traces of an artificial presence can be detected until now. Hakuno turns a corner, drinking in the sights of this strange new world as she pokes and prods around in hopes of finding her wayward Servant.

If she were paying attention, Hakuno would have glimpsed that long, flashy purple hair and booked it the other way as fast as she could.

Alas, Hakuno was not paying attention, and ends up crashing into a familiar, soft, sweetly-scented figure.]

[The look on BB's face is pure, unrestrained glee. Her memories of those battles in the Moon Cell have been cast to storages of long ago, but regardless of how much time passes-- regardless of what she undergoes or how much she changes-- regardless of where she winds up--

There is no way BB would forget Hakuno Kishinami.]

Ohhhhh, wow! [Her genki girl act is back at full force!] Sen~pai! I see you're being as hopeless as ever. Did you come just to see the cute and devilish BB-chan?

[BB's attempt at fulfilling her sadism quota is interrupted in the middle of her last boss kouhai type speech, as not only did Passionlip get herself stuck to the caravan with both hands, her attempt at dislodging it has her carrying it above her head.

But it's hard to balance giant robot hands and an entire caravan on a tiny frame like hers. Even if she's unreasonably strong, gravity is a cruel master.]

L-look out!!

[The caravan falls back, along with her hands, and the last warning BB gets beside lip trying to warn her is the massive shadow it casts over her from above, all before it smashes into the ground with a loud enough crash for everyone around them to hear.

After the dust settles, she's stuck on her back with her giant hands stuck to the caravan still, but now behind her. Totally immobile.]

[PASSIONLIP NO!!!]

H-Hey, wait a sec...!!

[But it's too late. The caravan is coming down and BB is forced to dive out of the way. Sand gets into her mouth -- she splutters as she sits up, sticking out her tongue as if that'd help with the awful taste.

BB was trying her best to be cool, but her Alter Ego had to go and flip everything upside-down! The image she'd been trying to carefully cultivate gives way to a sulky and flustered anger. She storms right up to poor Lip, who looks like a helpless turtle.]

Lip! Did you have to do that while I was still speaking?!

[ This must be some sort of freak dream, because someone who's wearing Sakura's face - although the other girl seems to have longer hair and quite some personality to her - is addressing her.

Um.

Sakura swallows hard and finds herself awkardly just. Staring wide eyed for a few moments. ]

Isn't that rude to ask for someone you just met...

[Who figured that her other self would be here? Though-- something's not right. This Sakura isn't acting like the White Sakura. There's something kind of. Off.

Everything about this situation is off!]

[ What is this. Why has his life come to this. How was he supposed to know that leaning against the caravan meant he was going to get stuck to it? Moreover, there's a girl trying to...bully him, he guesses? While he's stuck here? He was just trying to mind his own business, please. ]

I'm not sure it's really karma when I wasn't trying to do anything...
