OOC NOTES

▢ In case you missed it, the new world information is live!There’s a whole bunch of good information there, so make sure to keep it in mind when playing stuff out in Shehui. This is copy pasted from last time, but doop doop easily linked new world info.

▢ The TDM has been posted! If you want to test out some characters, or tag around and welcome potential applicants, head over here!

▢ The IC secret santa is in full swing! Here's the list for those who are curious, as well as the plotting post for this event! You have until the 26th to OOCly post your secret santa gifts!

▢ Don't forget -- you can start putting your AC in as soon as you get it! Also, as will be customary for the holidays only half AC will be required for every character! Don't feel stressed about having to tag and tag while you're going X-mas party hopping and shopping all day long.

IC EVENTS

▢ So what was going on during Sunsu? Thus far the government is being pretty tight-lipped about it, and OOCly will probably stay this way until next weekend's update post -- after the holiday rush settles down! The day after Sunsu, a leaflet was sent out to all residences, including Shehui apartment building rooms, that explained the loud noises were simply a faulty fireworks canon backfiring. Nothing to be alarmed about! Some may believe this, while others think that the even more pressing presence of monitors means that something else must be going on. If you want to inquire about this issue, you can still ask them! See what all they have to say. (Responses have been slow due to holiday junk, which is almost over thank goodness.)

▢ While Shehui works on a calendar much like our own, New Years isn't going to be for a month and a half. Instead, Shehui has a day of mourning closer to our January 1st New Years that says goodbye to things and people lost. After that, a celebratory holiday welcoming the new year and receiving positivity in the new year will be celebrated. For now, the bright lights of Shehui become a bit more bleak. Flowers replace the electronic lights as people prepare to create shrines and offerings for these people.

▢ Despite there being "nothing wrong" in Shehui, everyone will find that 2,000 credits have been deposited in their accounts, though this balance is frozen -- much like the rent that is saved as part of the free weekly stipend.

PROMPTS

▢ One other monitor issue that comes up is the survey...but wait, what survey? Becuase of the TDM characters and their signet in common with the strange people that live in That Apartment Building, a survey has been slid under the door of each apartment building, one for each person in the room. Want to complete the survey to the best of your character's ability? They can just stick it on the front of their door when they're done.

This can be filled out seriously, but also with information that's an obvious eff you to the monitors and Shehui government. There's also a note on the bottom of the sheet that says filling out the form will come with a reward of 500 credits. It seems the monitors are inching closer...?

▢ In regards to the Snitch Squad, there's now open enrollment! If you replied to the initial mod comment, you're in. If you'd like to join now, you're in! Just reply to this comment if you didn't reply to the initial one. If you'd like to drop out at any time, no need to speak up -- you'll simply be excluded from "locked" snitch squad posts. There will also be an in-person log this week, on the 29th, to discuss the new developments and what they mean, as well as how to move forward with previous suggestions. Genette has heard you, and the plot moves onward!
