It became my favorite game, ousting one I'd loved since childhood...kind of wild. But there are so many details, and I'm so keen on the fact that Yoko Taro oversaw all the writing for the side materials, so everything fits together so neatly...

It's a lit nerd's dream.

The sidequests are amazing for their world-building, I highly recommend them. Have you done Amnesia? It's...horrifying, knowing what you do after C/D.

i just googled it and no, i didn't! unfortunately a few of the sidequests i was stuck on were pretty tedious so i ended up taking a break (and now i'm playing ffxii lmao) but i might have to go back to it asap. uuuUUUUUGH I JUST LOVED IT TOO it def made it into, like, my top five at least, and that's not an easy feat.

it makes me happy you found a game you're so passionate about, though ;w; resonating with media is always a wonderful feeling

Reks was my favorite...I like the unfortunate ones, poor lads. My least favorite sidequest was Speedstar for sure, but man, that one and the unit that wants you to help him upgrade himself repeatedly have such interesting resolutions with 9S in particular. It's great that he gripes about fetch-quests.

People say the game is a piece of art, and I'm inclined to agree for sure. The writing's just so detailed and satisfying, but that's just what I'd expect from Yoko Taro. He only gets better with time.

I'm always happy to find something like that, or follow along when people talk about things they're really into. There's a unique energy about it.

i'm just.... glad they finally gave yoko taro a budget.... and i'm sure sinoalice is raking in the $$$$$$$$$ too so hopefully we'll be getting more from him sooner than later?

i am too! i love talking to people about things they love and i love talking to people about things i love. it just makes me happy to see other people happy.

There are so many cute details, it makes the pain even worse.

I watch whales spend so much on SINoALICE in its discord server so I mean. I think it's doing quite well indeed. Actually if I pick up a second character, I'm heavily considering Alice. ~~Need to make sure I'm active enough with this little guy first though~~

Same! I can appreciate your tastes. It's so great seeing people excited, and in person, you get to watch how they light up and everything. Same goes for thoughtful gifts...the best of sports, finding just the right thing.

I thought "chains of restriction" (conjuring chains) would be a fun magic ability for her if I do give her a go. Her story's really compelling I think, between main events and things like the Clock Rabbit event.

♥ Agreed on that. Also I'm glad you're around in the afternoons, I work obscenely early hours and I felt bad I had to turn in when there were tags last night, but well. Gotta sleep.

i haven't been all too invested in sinoalice besides saving obscene amounts of crystals for the automata event later this month (i'm past 3.5k) so i'll need to read up on it online, but i do love the designs and interface and everything! i remember days of maintenance hell when it first started, though.

sleep is important!!! it's 8:22 here, actually, but i'm always around in the late morning/afternoon. early mornings are occasional.

Just about 6k here stocked up for the same purpose, but I play daily. You know my guild shares the interest when the guild name is Bunker... I think we're all 9S fans too, haha. The level of detail is amazing, down to the character designs. For instance, Snow having an apple on her throat. For my part, I came in just after maintenance hell, but I've heard tales.

The wiki's good for translations, as is this tumblr. I know from the discord server this translator is eagerly awaiting Automata in order to translate the content, as well.

I talked with them about Alice's character development once and they mentioned her Paladin job story is a direct reference to American McGee's Alice, which suggests Alice in SA is an amalgamation of all adaptations of Alice...

Awesome, I'm glad my schedule doesn't prevent some back-and-forth in threads and conversation. I'm a natural night-owl so early shifts are a trip.

that's so cute! the bunker guild, i mean. as far as mobage goes granblue fantasy is probably my biggest? and i've been playing f/go daily since it came out in english. everything else (which is a lot) i just open up and mess around when i remember/when i'm bored, so sinoalice falls more into that category but i do like it. i am just bad at it.

Oh gosh, I'm also on Granblue... Maining dark like a masochist, and looking into earth for a sub. And treated myself to a suptix so the "who do I want?" debate rages on. I tried f/go and it crashed my phone so I just stick with these two and the occasional Touken Ranbu.

The art's so lovely, and rather like Granblue, I appreciate the uniformity of art style. Happy to share links/resources whenever possible; it's one of the perks of fandom that we can assault each other with the good stuff we find.

HAS THE 10-ROLL CAMPAIGN TREATED YOU WELL... i rolled so many good ssrs/srs. i main light! but i have a full team of fire ssrs so i am questioning it. i have dark jeanne d'arc though and she's one of my best units, so i stick to my dark team pretty often too.

I actually did better before the free rolls, and before legfest, even. I got Narumaya and Ayer (the dirt decider) just from rolling singles with my crop of premium draw tickets.

During legfest, I got one 10-roll with 2 SSRs and they were both ones I already had, I kid you not. I don't even have that many to begin with so it was a time. I'm just a month deep or so, having walked away from the game and returned later when I had a better idea of how to do things (and way better starting characters to choose from). Korwa's a gift.

i have both regular and summer narumaya! i'm so so happy. i have summer ayer, too. i'm sorry about your rotten luck though ;_; i can't believe you got the same SSRs. at least you could uncap the weapons once? i guess?

Narumaya's such a sweetheart... I did get summer Ayer and Charlotta from legfest, and I'm glad Ayer popped right on up since he's a cute kid and actually emotes in his summer Fate Episode. It's sort of funny I got the same ones, though I hope it doesn't happen again anytime soon. Ah I did get summer Izmir twice too?

i got summer charlotta and i also got summer izmir, who is great, but i think her rate is skewed or something because quite literally everyone i know got her, sometimes multiple copies. like, there had to be something strange going on there.

Izmir wanted love, truly... Hug her to stave off that ice ailment she's got going on. But it does seem a little unreal that I got her twice within a small number of rolls so maybe she had a really high likelihood compared with others...
