NAME: jeanne d'arc (ruler) CANON: fate/apocrypha INFO: jeanne is the holy maiden and canonized catholic saint who famously led the french to victory against their english foes during the hundred years' war—as a teenage peasant girl—after hearing the voice of god telling her to do so. she's a ruler class servant in fate/, which is a rare class called upon to supervise dangerous holy grail wars and Make Sure Everything Doesn't Die, essentially. she's also your mom and she really wants you to go to church and be a good child. MAGIC: when characters say her true name—"jeanne" or "jeanne d'arc"—they're granted temporary invulnerability while she takes on any suffering that character is experiencing. basically, you're just piling all your emotional/physical/mental trauma onto a saint for a while. please check out my app for more info on limitations and how it works! fun facts: it can take effect without anyone noticing it.
