TDMs can be used for anyone interested in the game and/or testing out a new muse.

Test Drive samples are encouraged to be used for your application sample, though they are NOT a requirement.

Feel free to use one prompt, multiple prompts or make up your own!

These threads can be considered game canon upon game opening if you so choose.

Telepathy and magic can be used at any point in time on the TDM, from Prompt A to your wildcard prompt. A specific prompt exists, however, that makes sure all characters have an equal chance to use this mechanic within the TDM. You're encouraged to have characters use telepathy and their magic accidentally or even purposefully on any TDM prompt.

If you aren't set on your character's power yet or want to try out a few, you're still able to use the test drive. Maybe your character is a late bloomer and hasn't fully unlocked their intuitive drive yet. In the case of multiple powers, only prompts that contain the power you choose for your application will count as potential game canon threads.

While only one character can be apped or reserved during a cycle, feel free to post with more than one character if you like! This is for those who are uncertain of their first choice or who would like to try out different characters within the setting.

IMPORTANT: This world is low-frequency. No canon powers or abilities are allowed! Also check out the setting information for more info about Shehui.

IMPORTANT: This TDM won't be canon! It's a little dicey in-game right now, which isn't exactly fair for in-game players who are currently trapped, as well as out-of-game hopefuls who want to get as much CR potential as possible. Think of this as an alternate timeline.

You blink and that's all it takes. At first, the picture doesn't come in clear, like you're waiting for a screen to fully load -- more aptly, it's like you're waiting for a camera to focus so you can find image clarity. Before you happened to rapidly close your eyes and open them, your life was normal...well, normal for you, anyway. Fighting an alien, making a quesadilla, dying. And then that blurry picture suddenly takes over. There's a lot to take in here -- you feel weird, your surroundings are weird. Everything is just weird. For starters, there's that new piece of jewelry inserted in the space above your chest. That certainly wasn't there before you opened your eyes. A ▢ Or, perhaps, that isn't the weirdest thing you're experiencing right now. Instead of just being magicked away, blinking your eyes open to stare at a video game or random tree, you blearily awaken from a sleepy daze in a bed that isn't your own. It does, however, belong to someone else...someone who is right next to you. Do they see you first, or are you the first to be aware of your new Shehui sleeping situation? B ▢ Other new arrivals aren't so lucky as to arrive in the warm embrace of an apartment's bed. It's currently raining in Shehui, and because of the current post-winter temperature, the rain is certainly cold. You're now in the middle of a busy street, out in the open -- no umbrella to your name. You have the opportunity to grab some shelter underneath an awning or run into a building. Or will someone take pity on you? Or are you not bothered by a sudden, frigid downpour? C ▢ Shehui is looking to celebrate an upcoming holiday -- Yeunai. Something of a bonding holiday that celebrates a variety of relationships, Shehui residents are really into this consumer, capitalist bonanza. On certain Shehui streets are mats that read the ID data of those that stand on them. Whether or not you'd like to take part in this little shindig, a nearby machine will random spit out some data about you and another person on the same long mat. (Need some guidance? Here's a love calculator!) That's a good ice-breaker, right? D ▢ Despite Shehui's distrust of magic, faux magic isn't a big deal. In fact, there's currently a showcase of street performers making money with their craft. Located around Shehui's famed tower, there's a lot of room for some real magic here. Want to take yours for a spin? It's easy enough to simply say you can't reveal your secrets when you're asked about a certain talent. E ▢ With how prominent cell phones are in Shehui, a lot of new and old arrivals have them by now -- you, newbie, might have already picked one up! Despite not having anyone on your contact list yet, you do seem to be getting quite a few messages...though they aren't going to your cell phone. Instead, they're being telepathically broadcast into your head, or even before your eyes! On the opposite end of the spectrum, it's very likely that you're transmitting your own accidental telepathic broadcast...but what are you saying, exactly? F ▢ Another fun activity -- Chips! is always open! Today they're hosting their regular games, but there's also a SongWars competition, including a huge stage and everything. While you may not know the words to these strange, alien pop songs, the crowd may turn in your favour if you put on a good show regardless. What do you win for besting your champion? A nice plastic trophy and a big Chocorrone. G ▢ For some people, the whole "kidnapped to another world with new magic and cell phones and shit" is actually...kind of a downer. For those of you who want to enjoy the evening and maybe meditate for a while, there are plenty of parks with benches that allow you to sit and think. You may not want company, but it may find you regardless... H ▢ Wildcard! How will your character react to this strange world?

[Unlike Leo she was lucky enough to end up with a room so when she came out to do some shopping she was already under some kind of cover. It was still a huge shock to be here but she was in the middle of an attempt to calm herself. That is until a familiar face comes over to where she is hiding from the rain.

Squeezing her umbrella she hugs him despite how cold and wet he is.]

[ There's nothing like seeing his baby sister to cause a complete 180 in Leo's behavior. Whiny, miserable, and complaining, the second he sees a familiar flash of orange and feels those tiny arms around him, it's all gone. Something fretful and concerned replaces it, but he's just as overjoyed to see her as he is worried about her being here. ]

Rukatan! Look at you, being so responsible! Oniichan is so proud!! ☆ [ Cold and wet as he is, he folds over her, squeezing her tight and mushing his cheek against the side of her head. ] O~kay, though, I'm very wet and don't want you to get sick, so maybe probably a short hug, ne?

[ He's not letting go yet. ]

[Ruka knows all too well how much her brother cares. Though as she hugs him she starts to register what he was saying before. So Izumi wasn't here...Was her brother here alone too? That wasn't good but at least they were here together.]

W-Well I was at school but then I was in a bedroom when I got here and there was an umbrella. [She doesn't want to let go either but she is sure it would be a bad idea to stay in the position for too long.]

Okay. [She lets go and shivers the cold hits her the moment the body warmth is gone.]

[ Unfortunately for the Tsukinagas, Leo's keeper is conspicuously missing - it'll be fine, probably, but he's yet to find him and it's a little troublesome..! But he'll do his utmost best to not worry Ruka, even as he sniffles again as they finally part, processing her explanation. ]

Mm, I was at school, too, but then I was here in the rain! The rudest welcome. I'm glad they at least were nice to Rukatan, though, because otherwise there'd have been a reeeaaaal problem.

[ ok leo. But he holds his hand out to her, wiggling his fingers. He can't have her shivering like that... ] Lesgo, we better go somewhere more dry.

[The keeper is needed for a lot. Right now she would applicate seeing anyone familiar, although it does make her feel bad too. She doesn't really want anyone to be forced here, even seeing her brother and being happy he's here made her feel a little selfish.]

That is so mean! [How could they do that to people at random.] It's okay, I didn't get rained on.

[Moving close to him she hands him the umbrella.] We can use this, so you won't get more wet...we can go to my room maybe?

I'm just. So happy.

[ It's the same for him, really. Leo doesn't want Ruka there, but he does at the same time. At the very least she found him, and it triggered the more responsible side of him, so he'll take care of her to the best of his abilities. And keep her super super duper safe.

Accepting the umbrella, he holds it so that it angles the most over her. He's already all wet, his shoulder can take a little more rain. ]

It is, isn't it!! But it's okay, oniichan is made of tougher stuff~! ☆ [ Well, now he is. But Leo's not bringing up when he made her worry so much... ] Where's your room? We can go there and come back, if you have to. Or want to. We can look around together. ♡

[Ruka was really thankful he wasn't sad himself and was his normal self. There was too long of a time that wasn't the case. For now she would take her eccentric protective brother.

Ready to fuss at him she lets it go as they walk. Pointing in the direction she came from, she giggles softly.]

That way. I came out to explore...but it's all really weird we aren't home at all and it's not a dream.

[ Hopefully he stays his normal, eccentric self, really. But given how much there is to see and do and experience, Leo should probably be fine for a little while. After all, they've been abducted and have magic powers

[Aliens were one of her brothers big things he rambled about and it was always funny to watch him do so. For Ruka she is sure he is going to enjoy it here to some degree. As far as magical powers went she had yet to discover all that.

Yes! I wonder if anyone else from home is here too... [She then flails a little realizing her tone might have been hopeful sounding.] N-Not that I would wish them to be here!

[ After getting told about them, Leo's been... wanting to test them out.
But being wet and rainy, he hasn't had a chance to, because of the distraction of being so miserable. Now that Ruka is here, he's happy again, even if he's still cold and soggy. After all, he has Ruka, and he has aliens. All he needs are his Knights,
and it'll be per~fect.

He doesn't bat an eye when she grabs his sleeve, letting her hold it as per usual.
It comforts him, too. ]

A~h, you never know? We can ask around! It's better to know that they're here, instead of wondering and getting all worried about it.

[Powers still seem a little out there for now she was a little more focused on other things.

Honestly, she wasn't sure who she might want here from school it might be a little hard for most of them. Though having Suzu around would be entertaining.]
