TDMs can be used for anyone interested in the game and/or testing out a new muse.

Test Drive samples are encouraged to be used for your application sample, though they are NOT a requirement.

Feel free to use one prompt, multiple prompts or make up your own!

These threads can be considered game canon upon game opening if you so choose.

Telepathy and magic can be used at any point in time on the TDM, from Prompt A to your wildcard prompt. A specific prompt exists, however, that makes sure all characters have an equal chance to use this mechanic within the TDM. You're encouraged to have characters use telepathy and their magic accidentally or even purposefully on any TDM prompt.

If you aren't set on your character's power yet or want to try out a few, you're still able to use the test drive. Maybe your character is a late bloomer and hasn't fully unlocked their intuitive drive yet. In the case of multiple powers, only prompts that contain the power you choose for your application will count as potential game canon threads.

While only one character can be apped or reserved during a cycle, feel free to post with more than one character if you like! This is for those who are uncertain of their first choice or who would like to try out different characters within the setting.

IMPORTANT: This world is low-frequency. No canon powers or abilities are allowed! Also check out the setting information for more info about Shehui.

IMPORTANT: This TDM won't be canon! It's a little dicey in-game right now, which isn't exactly fair for in-game players who are currently trapped, as well as out-of-game hopefuls who want to get as much CR potential as possible. Think of this as an alternate timeline.

You blink and that's all it takes. At first, the picture doesn't come in clear, like you're waiting for a screen to fully load -- more aptly, it's like you're waiting for a camera to focus so you can find image clarity. Before you happened to rapidly close your eyes and open them, your life was normal...well, normal for you, anyway. Fighting an alien, making a quesadilla, dying. And then that blurry picture suddenly takes over. There's a lot to take in here -- you feel weird, your surroundings are weird. Everything is just weird. For starters, there's that new piece of jewelry inserted in the space above your chest. That certainly wasn't there before you opened your eyes. A ▢ Or, perhaps, that isn't the weirdest thing you're experiencing right now. Instead of just being magicked away, blinking your eyes open to stare at a video game or random tree, you blearily awaken from a sleepy daze in a bed that isn't your own. It does, however, belong to someone else...someone who is right next to you. Do they see you first, or are you the first to be aware of your new Shehui sleeping situation? B ▢ Other new arrivals aren't so lucky as to arrive in the warm embrace of an apartment's bed. It's currently raining in Shehui, and because of the current post-winter temperature, the rain is certainly cold. You're now in the middle of a busy street, out in the open -- no umbrella to your name. You have the opportunity to grab some shelter underneath an awning or run into a building. Or will someone take pity on you? Or are you not bothered by a sudden, frigid downpour? C ▢ Shehui is looking to celebrate an upcoming holiday -- Yeunai. Something of a bonding holiday that celebrates a variety of relationships, Shehui residents are really into this consumer, capitalist bonanza. On certain Shehui streets are mats that read the ID data of those that stand on them. Whether or not you'd like to take part in this little shindig, a nearby machine will random spit out some data about you and another person on the same long mat. (Need some guidance? Here's a love calculator!) That's a good ice-breaker, right? D ▢ Despite Shehui's distrust of magic, faux magic isn't a big deal. In fact, there's currently a showcase of street performers making money with their craft. Located around Shehui's famed tower, there's a lot of room for some real magic here. Want to take yours for a spin? It's easy enough to simply say you can't reveal your secrets when you're asked about a certain talent. E ▢ With how prominent cell phones are in Shehui, a lot of new and old arrivals have them by now -- you, newbie, might have already picked one up! Despite not having anyone on your contact list yet, you do seem to be getting quite a few messages...though they aren't going to your cell phone. Instead, they're being telepathically broadcast into your head, or even before your eyes! On the opposite end of the spectrum, it's very likely that you're transmitting your own accidental telepathic broadcast...but what are you saying, exactly? F ▢ Another fun activity -- Chips! is always open! Today they're hosting their regular games, but there's also a SongWars competition, including a huge stage and everything. While you may not know the words to these strange, alien pop songs, the crowd may turn in your favour if you put on a good show regardless. What do you win for besting your champion? A nice plastic trophy and a big Chocorrone. G ▢ For some people, the whole "kidnapped to another world with new magic and cell phones and shit" is actually...kind of a downer. For those of you who want to enjoy the evening and maybe meditate for a while, there are plenty of parks with benches that allow you to sit and think. You may not want company, but it may find you regardless... H ▢ Wildcard! How will your character react to this strange world?

[Okok, good. Suzu's internal screaming lessens a bit now that there's some distance between them. However, she won't dignify Nobbu's comment about her shyness with a response, because that would mean acknowledging her slip-up. And... if she ends up getting teased more... she's not sure if she can think of a good comeback... Uuuu...

Though, Nobbu's next words catch her attention. Proposing they rock out together sometime, calling herself the Demon King of the Sixth Heaven... Could this short woman be... another chuunibyou denizen of the dark world???]

Hm. Though my precious club minions aren't here to back me up, you may do, seeing the fire of ambition within the windows of your soul. Rejoice, for this fallen angel would like to witness your skills and judge them for myself.

[Whether or not Suzu still has the guitar is irrelevant, because she still walks off to find a guitar of her own.]

[Once she happens upon some innocent bystander likely preparing to go on stage themselves, she """convinces""" them to hand it over.

And they seem reluctant to argue because small she may be, but demon king's still a demon king.]

[Why yes of course. Suzu isn't Suzu without a guitar. Except for those times when she slams them against the wall and other things; but this is the only one she has right now and her (dwindling) club budget didn't exactly follow her here. She's found it in herself to show some restraint, at least for now.

Suzu watches Nobunaga's "exchange" with the innocent bystander, actually impressed by the whole thing. How cool...!!]

Hmm~ Not bad. Very well, then. [With that, she shifts off her guitar case from her back, removing her trusty instrument from its confines. She then promptly tosses it aside which ends up hitting another innocent passerby.] Are you ready to 「Rock N Roll」, Demon King of the Sixth Heaven?
