[So you know, as much as he's frustrated with the phantom ruby no longer operating, he's at least thankful to be conscious again. Losing your physical form and getting dragged into a robot isn't a particularly nice way to live, so for the moment he's actually in a somewhat better mood than he'd usually be.
Unfortunately, he made the transition from fairly skilled mercenary with razor sharp instincts to omnipotent jerkbag with cushy supernatural senses for so long that he's rusty from having it so easy. It doesn't take long at all for him to wander into a spider's pit and have his foot completely sink into the ground. He can practically feel something trying to grab a hold of him and, potentially life threatening scenario aside, it's also super, super gross.]

[After that little escapade, his former good mood is completely shot. When the scanner pod flies by to investigate him, it doesn't take long for Infinite to snatch it out of midair with one hand, taking one of its appendages between two fingers and giving it a tug.]
I've had quite enough of machines...
[Probably pulling on it a little too much now. He seems intent on damaging it.]

[Honestly? Weapons have been the best part of this experience so far. Infinite has a clear bias towards swords, testing out several; hand on the hilt, taking a few practice swings. But each and every one falls below his expectations, and so he ends up tossing them back.
In some cases, literally.]
To think when I need that sword the most, I'd already thrown it away...the irony doesn't escape me.
