▢ In case you missed it, the new world information is live!There’s a whole bunch of good information there, so make sure to keep it in mind when playing stuff out in Shehui.

▢ This should have been part of the last post, but all media is understandable in Shehui as long as you can read/hear in the first place. If a person writes you a note, that won’t be legible to a character that doesn’t know that language, but books, TV shows, apps, movies, etc. are all able to be read/listened to by anyone.

▢ The reserves are closed now, but remember: apps are open and last through the 5th! This is all EST time.

▢ The December AC sheet isn’t here yet, but it will be after the new characters are accepted. Remember: AC is self-reporting. There will be a courtesy Plurk/PM for those who don’t have Plurk about their AC being missing on the 1st or 2nd to last day of the month, but that’s it! Because it’s self-reporting and can be completed at almost any time, there won’t be heavy reminders about posting AC outside of weekly reminders on these posts.

▢ Speaking of AC, what did completing last month’s Bonus AC get you? Your character’s IC reward will be an ID notification that they’ve been selected as entrants in the Shehui monthly lottery. Winners are selected at the end of every 30 Day cycle, which will officially end next Saturday. All random semi-finalists win a bonus 2,000 credits and a mystery snack box. There will also be VIP tickets to any Shehui event — these may come in handy later on in the month!

▢ As far as sensing magic, the Shehui ministry haven’t sniffed out the coven...much. However, coven members may notice that their apartment building is subjected to more patrols than other areas of the city, outside of Coins! Otherwise, singular coven members may be watched more closely by patrolmen when they’re out and about. If they question the patrol persons, they’ll simply state that all new citizens are monitored closely because of their status in the city. That’s about as much as you can get out of them.

▢ The citizens in the coven apartment building are lucky! Shehui is giving them one free week of snow around the apartment complex and the outside garden areas. The snow is absolutely perfect — thick, soft and pure white. Enjoy your snow week! Other areas of Shehui have also purchases snow, so there will be snowy parks and streets all around the area. What is this in preparation of? Sunsu: Shehui’s version of a winter giving holiday! It’s highly commercialized, highly romanticized and not at all about any sort of religion or deity. Just a good ol’ excuse to buy into traditions and the local economy. This holiday occurs on the 20th!

▢ Because of all the snow around, some people need to be hired to manage it! Job boards will now be asking for snow shovelers, sweepers for businesses and road salters — all at 2 hour daily shifts, 100 credits per hour!

▢ Genette is looking for certain coven members who would like to gather information about the inner workings of Shehui who will report to her on occasion. Qri going missing is starting to get to her, and finding her location is imperative to her. Sign-ups for this important task will be here! This is limited to 10 characters!

▢ IMPORTANT Again, make sure to liberally use the Player Event/Change Notification post. The progression within the world will be greatly controlled by players based on how much or little they act out. Don’t blow your plot load too early, but do take note of your characters using magic in public (visible, obvious magic), as well as causing any major disturbances.

▢ Keep track of the calendar here! The calendar has been notoriously out of date recently — not on purpose! Stupid mods forgot the mod calendar is still on the old Gmail so it was being updated, just...on the new one. But IC dates are now up for December!
