▢ The most important thing to cover this update post is that the coven will be leaving Aimintas next week! A week from now, all characters will be whisked away back to the hub island for some good ol' rest and relaxation. This should give those who want to get on with the barrier quest some time to finalize their plans and a log post about their results will go up next week. What questions will be answered? Will all of them be? Is this the last they'll all see of this friendly, lizard-filled city? Where will they go next? Let's find out together!

▢ EDIT: To those who decided to care for a Palai egg and had it hatch, make sure you decide on whether or not your lizard baby will be staying in Aimintas or returning with you to the Hub. Either option is viable!

▢ Speaking of September being half over, here's a note regarding AC: you should do it! Of course the pressure isn't fully on yet, but remember that Spellbind is a sort of post-as-you-go game where if you already have AC done, go ahead and slap it up there so you aren't stressing come the last week of the month!

▢ A semi-important note: please tag your posts. No one will go through and tag posts for you since some people may certain methods to their post-tagging madness, but a lot of log posts are very sparse when it comes to 'canon: character' tags. It's definitely easier to make AC if you know what all posts you've tagged!

▢ Finally, thoughts and well-wishes go out to any players who have been going through the past two hurricanes. If you have an issue with your Internet or can't make AC due to being AFK because of hurricane trouble, feel free to get a friend to PM the mod account or report in yourself saying that you've been affected. Your AC will be waived for the month!

▢ Potential Barrier Quest (the pet name is being adapted to actually what this is called, oops) plans may occur anytime before the coven leaves Aimintas, so be on the lookout and take a look at this post!

▢ There's a certain bored energy in Aimintas lately -- life has gone back to normal for the Palai, and this might as well be as true as it can be for coven members as well. This changes on the 21st when another Qri mindwave hits and causes the same symptoms as before except at a lower dose. What's the news? The coven is on the move! They'll be leaving the morning of the 23rd.

▢ The Palai will of course be sad to see their friends and semi-saviors go, but you know the Palai: they love a good send off! Another casual log will go up on the 21st so you can tie up any lose Aimintas-related threads you have.

▢ The TDM is the 23rd, though it's still a ways away! Newer and potential characters will never have seen the Hub Island, which is where the TDM will take place!
