So! Some . . . things . . . have happened since we last spoke about BARRIER QUEST. Notably, the appearance of these Elto magic centers which characters will eventually discover has some sort of effect on the barrier! This will be ICly known by at least some characters by Night 64 due to the questionable decisions of Dirk Strider and Jake English, everyone give them a hand.
With that in mind, Jay will be trying to get some people together to collect as many of the Elto bones as they can safely manage and bring them up top to the barrier to see what kind of effect they have in conjunction. Since these things kind of shock people who touch them, especially if they're clustered together, there's a particular need for characters with:
as well as fliers/water manipulators (to get people up) and explorers, if they can manage to get past the barrier.
This post is for OOC brainstorming and planning in advance of that (tentatively thinking a post will go up for this Saturday the 16th, if that works for people!) What sorts of things should we try? Does your character have any powers that might be useful, either ones I listed here or not? Anything else I completely failed to think of?
(There's also a plotting plurk right over here, if you prefer that mode of discussion!)

- telekinetic or other powers that can move the structures without touching them
- transformative powers, to change the structures into other, non-shocky things
- hammerspace!
