Welcome to Spellbind! This is a post for ALL players to introduce others to their characters, as well as themselves. Unlike the OOC meet and greet, this isn't exclusive to new players, so all players can gain CR with each other.

OOC NOTES
▢ Responses have been a little slow this week -- sorry about that! Due to some unforseen connectivity circumstances and emergencies, the to-do list clearing has been delayed. All responses and busy work will be dealt with tonight.
▢ The reserves and app rush are coming! Be sure to look on the calendar for specific dates and the time to start enabling your friends is now!
▢ If you have any EMP requests, put them in this thread! Also, the first person to ping the mod plurk when EMP happens next week will go down in history. I forget when this shit happens
▢ For both old and new applicants, make sure that by the end of the AC period you have your info post up and available on your journal. Again, you DO NOT have to use the one provided, but the info code page DOES contain a list of the necessary information for the info post you do make. Also, some people have been swapping out the "Permissions" portion of their info code with an in-game inventory, which is a good idea! If you'd like to keep track of items used and gained in the game, it's recommended that you keep a list handy, though it's not required.
▢ Also, make sure that you have your information posted to the OOC Contact Post. When processing drops, some characters didn't have their information posted here, and it's paramount that you have it listed!
▢ Remember that if your character does something major that would affect multiple characters or the game's cast as a whole, please detail this activity here so that the setting and plot can be adjusted accordingly! |
IC EVENTS
▢ The rain berating Aimintas will continue until the 21st. Thanks to these lovely people for helping the Palai to overcome this saltwater travesty.
▢ Characters may have heard some chattering about this over the past week -- at least, in between all the commotion -- but the Palai mating season is beginning. During this two-week time period, starting on the 20th, the Palai will essentially go into overdrive trying to match their brethren up with one another. The coven members aren't escaping this treatment either, as evident by the TDM prompt covering this issue, but this treatment won't stop there. On the 25th, the coven will be "invited" to a speed dating event. If you're worried about your character not participating, don't worry -- the Palai aren't working to make magic moving objects for nothing. More details will happen during the log that will go up covering this event. (Your character won't be OOCly forced to join, but if you want to torture them, they WILL be ICly forced to participate if they happen to be there).
▢ In the meantime, the Palai are also becoming more entranced by the idea of battle, and characters who have experience can really shine during this week. Palai are looking to spar frequently, and it's a great time to polish up on your own battle skills. They may be necessary soon.
