OOC NOTES
▢ Not much to note this week! If you're still working on apps, you do have time to get them in! ▢ The third Spellbind TDM is approaching! It'll be next Saturday, so a week from now. ▢ For both old and new applicants, make sure that by the end of the AC period you have your info post up and available on your journal. Again, you DO NOT have to use the one provided, but the info code page DOES contain a list of the necessary information for the info post you do make. Also, some people have been swapping out the "Permissions" portion of their info code with an in-game inventory, which is a good idea! If you'd like to keep track of items used and gained in the game, it's recommended that you keep a list handy, though it's not required. ▢ Remember that if your character does something major that would affect multiple characters or the game's cast as a whole, please detail this activity here so that the setting and plot can be adjusted accordingly! |
IC EVENTS
▢ Most characters fought valiantly and tried their best to prevent as much Palai death as possible, and most Uvi have returned home with their victims in tow (this is barring any captured Uvi that may have been taken prisoner, though they would be dead by now without an eventual water source). Because of the coven's presence and the smaller number of Uvi present at the attack, only 5 Palai were taken. ▢ One of the more notable victories is thanks to Moon, her Pokemon, Xion and Mikleo. With their help, many Uvi are temporarily trapped in their large seaweed domain, though this won't last forever. Based on the Uvi's regular attack cycle, it can be assumed that one week has been added to their 30 day attack strategy. ▢ Despite the impermanence of the solution, once the Palai learn of this development they'll be extremely elated and throw a celebration for the coven in which they will again be guests of honor. This will take place on the 15th and a casual festival log will go up. There will also be NPC interaction threads here to get to interact with the NPCs better. Brie was a weapons supplier during the Uvi attack and Genette has been relatively under the radar, so now's your chance to converse a little. ▢ Another important development is that after seeing the coven fight and "win" against the Uvi, the Palai are beginning to collectively change their minds about taking the Uvi attacks lying down. While they aren't outright considering a war, they are beginning to get more and more curious about weaponry and fighting. Palai will ask coven members about their powers and weapons in the context of battle, not just because they think they're cool. ▢ Because a majority of players OOCly posted their Bonus AC this month, the Palai will begin to take the extra step of making weapons this week after the festival. The added bonus of these weapons is that they are Elto powered -- the slingshots, small knives and other weapons created by the Palai will have a temporary electrical charge that will hit victims like a taser, adding to damage dealt. The coven members will of course be gifted some of these weapons, though they aren't exactly expertly crafted. ▢ For those curious, Qri has been so far silent about the purpose for the coven being here on this world. Asking Genette about this information will result in apologetic shrugs -- is there a method to her madness? |
IMPORTANT DATES
▢ The TDM, again, goes up next Saturday! After that, Reserves open on the 25th. Because there was a bit of confusion last month, apps run through the 5th, meaning they are open on the first five days of the month. Sorry if any wording made this unclear! ▢ Keep track of the calendar here! |
