OOC NOTES
▢ Not much to note this week! If you're still working on apps, you do have time to get them in! ▢ Apps will be processed after closing (as of now, almost all apps submitted have been ruled on). There will be another OOC meet and greet put up right afterwards, so make sure to stick around after acceptances to say hello to new friends and CR! ▢ Most importantly, look at this super cool player plot thing Farrah and Ink have going on in relation to the upcoming Uvi attack (more on that in the IC events note). |
IC EVENTS
▢ At ~8PM on the 6th, the IC log for new arrivals will go up. Threads from the TDM with accepted applicants can be considered canon based on discussion! ▢ The 8th is approaching, which also means the Palai are going to go into hyperdrive getting ready, settling their affairs and gathering their family for the Uvi attack. The Palai will shut themselves into their houses on the 7th at noon, and won't want to voluntarily leave their house until noon on the 9th, which is their 48 hour safety cycle. ▢ Whether you're part of the IC reconnaissance team or just casually talking to the Palai about this problem, they'll be very adamant that the only option they consider is hiding and hoping for the best. They may try to protect themselves once an Uvi breaks into their house, but that's the only time they'll even attempt to make contact with the Uvi whatsoever. ▢ ICly, a log will go up on the 8th at ~8PM detailing the raid. What will be discussed now is that this raid is somewhat abnormal in the eyes of the Palai. It doesn't last as long as usual raids, and the number of Uvi who appear is significantly lesser than previously. What this means, they have no idea. ▢ After the raid, the Palai will hold a ceremony for anyone who is dead and not taken by the Uvi. This includes both coven members who may lose their life facing the Uvi, as well as their own. Palai funerals are very somber yet beautiful, and they will be held collectively on the 10th. There are a lot of flowers, Eltos performing ritualistic magic and mourning. |
