ABOUT: I'm a law student + getting my master's in social work concurrently so I talk a lot about how school is slowly killing me. I also enjoy RWBY, Broadway musicals, reading, and my two cats! That's about it, really.
NAME: Roy Mustang. He's a Brigadier General now but no one in his cast is ever going to call him that so I don't know why I bother including it.
CANON: Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood/Manga timeline)!
INFO: Roy is charming, thinks he's funny, is excellent at chess, is a highkey political genius, and also has a penchant for adopting miscreants and helping guide them along their merry way. He wants to jumpstart a revolution and shift his entire country back to democracy rather than the military dictatorship it's been suffering under since he joined. He is devoutly loyal to his military family that he's crafted for himself and would do anything and everything for them, including roast god-like beings that shouldn't exist alive in their name and memory. He wants to save his country and his world and he's well on his way to doing that! He just got sidetracked to coming here, first.
MAGIC: Pacemiakinesis: The Manipulation of Peace. Roy can influence people's emotions to cool tempers, influence peace, and exude a sort of calming chill out, bro aura. Once he becomes more practiced at it, he can command a person's reaction in combat, to convince them that fighting is not necessarily the answer. However, his own emotional state can hinder this process -- for example, if Roy is afraid or angry, his own ability is a lot less effective, as a lot of his gift relies on how he presents himself. In other words, the mind can't be tricked by an angry man telling them peace is the better way.
CR REQUESTS: ok listen:

- Roy also needs normal friends who aren't traumatized, probably.
- But he's super interested in getting to know Who Runs This Place (TM) and will likely seek out the people who have been here the longest in order to make friends and try to get himself in the know.

HI, HELLO... your comment reminded me that i forgot to put found family in my cr requests, shit. BUT YES, Jumin is also an Old Man in his soul. he's also probably the closest to normal Roy can probably get around here since he doesn't have to deal with superpowers or war trauma at all?
he'd rather drink wine than anything else but i am sure they'll be excellent drinking and chess buddies.
