OOC NOTES

▢ The TDM is here and applications are currently open! Keep an eye on the TDM so you can help those without enough comments get their samples up to snuff! ▢ The AC spreadsheet is here, and November's sheet is updated! Newbies will be put up as they are accepted on the 6th. ▢ (REPEAT) Several players have taken it upon themselves to organize certain teaching groups and game resources like location information. If you'd like any resources you have on hand to be included on the setting page or in intro copy, consider this and feel free to send it over to the mod account so it can be added accordingly! This makes it easier for new players to get a hold of established resources and existing player plots and organizations. ▢ If you're wondering where the new world is...it's coming! As a note, the coven will officially be in the new world on the 15th of November! NEW The information about the next world will be up and discussed on next week's weekly update post!

IC EVENTS

▢ Several players have contacted the mod account about creating some monitoring technology on the island, and so that will be happening over the next week or so! From then on, the weekly updates will include information about a mobile monitor as well as what it finds on the island, including resources and other abnormal activity -- that is, this will do this on the weekly update posts on the island. ▢ Sophie's player has created a flower meadow! It doesn't have much in the way of effect-giving plants, but they certainly are pretty to look at and can do something special!

PROMPTS

▢ Cabin-building is...progressing. The bad news is that during this next week, the island is going to begin to become flooded due to some torrential rain. All supplies will be quickly packed into the mansion, and any coven members who don't want to get rained into their beach huts are more than welcome to pack in. The newbie intro log this time around will revolve around new members spawning in the mansion, as well as have a slumber party type vibe for some prompts, so any stupid party ideas you may have for the 6th are welcome! ▢ Otherwise, finding shelter can be hard -- the beach huts are near to the shore, which means they'll qull quickly get flooded out. Brie has offered up some tarps and poles that people can use in the forest in order to create a little makeshift tent city if you'd prefer to rough it outdoors and avoid the noisiness of indoor party rabble rousing. ▢ Before anyone asks -- yes, those with water-related powers can control the rain! However, it's coming down exceptionally fast, which means it's impossible to fully stop flooding, though it is totally possible to help out with excessive water and rapid river flow speeds. ▢ Genette will be making a network post on the 9th asking for newbies for questions they'd like to get answered by Qri. Simultaneously, she'll reveal that she's reached an agreement with Qri to answer questions described by players through Gier. When will these questions be answered? How many? Who knows! Only time will tell.

▢ The IC dates for the November calendar will be inserted sometime before the weekend. Remember to keep an eye on it since some dates aren't put in until other plans are solidified. ▢ Keep track of the calendar here!

AW YEAH IT'S HAPPENING

For those curious, the technology related player plot is laid out in this doc and the first post of the plot is already up here! (though I at least will probably not start replying to that in earnest until tomorrow whoops)

It will also eventually include an exploring component for those who aren't tech-inclined, since the end of the plot will involve climbing up the mountain to discover what the dang ??? is on the map of the Hub.
