food co-op signups!
Hello again, Spellbind!
So Jay and Nike are setting up a sort of hunting/fishing/gathering co-op to get food to people who need it and might not be able to do those things on their own, since characters' stores of shrimp from the Palai are probably running a bit low! There's an IC post for it right over here if you want to chat with them about it, but basically:
Sign up HERE if your character would like to help out (especially if they have survival skills, and especially if they would be willing to teach others).
Sign up HERE if your character is a normie who doesn't have a reliable way of getting food on their own and would need help from the co-op! (Jay will push them to commit to learning a skill/helping out with some coven tasks in exchange, but if your character refuses, they will still have bundles of food discreetly delivered to wherever they're staying.)
As a note, you are also free to sign up your Palai babies for this! As a way to teach them necessary skills to survive in the likelihood their surrogate parents end up dropping in the near future, it could be a way to ensure they are given a stable future of some kind within the island as they can be left behind whenever PC are world-hopping elsewhere.
Right now we're just at the info-gathering stage--what exactly the co-op will look like ICly depends on who signs up!--but likely there will be a hunting group, fishing group, gathering group, and possibly a farming group that will work to procure different types of food for the co-op. Experienced characters will 'lead' the group and teach inexperienced characters, and players can handwave or thread out participation in their group as necessary. If people have any ideas for additional groups or things to be done with these groups, feel free to leave them here!
