jake legit grew up alone in a monster infested jungle island so he'd be happy to help her with survival things! also she likes guns so he loves her already tbh. deadpan people make him think of his best friend so i'm sure he'll get along with her well.

they can talk shop about preferred types of guns oh no... it is clearly homura's fate to be guided in the ways of wilderness survival by the homestuck cast, a cr which i welcome wholeheartedly. alas she's not even a cool sort of deadpan, she's just awkward covered in layer of deadpan. the ungainliest social duckling.
