TREE QUEST (?)

Hi there! I've finally been able to get back into the groove of things, but that's not what I'm making this post about.

The hub's orchard has been victim to a disease for some time now, and Percival has very recently discovered that his healing abilities apply to them as well. Percival needs help healing the trees, since his abilities are limited by...interaction. He has to make the trees happy, essentially, and Percival isn't the most amiable or...funnest guy to be around.

More importantly: he'd like to keep a small control group so they can locate or distinguish the source of the disease. So taking notes, doing fieldwork and generally understanding the hub's ecosystem better are all components of this quest as well.

This is open to literally anyone and everyone since Percival is probably going to be camped near those trees whenever they're on the hub! You can have your character prematurely find out or talk to him about this here if you'd like! He might send out a message to everyone later depending on interest and whatnot!

Haru would be super interested in helping out with this more. She was unable to do much of anything about it herself so she's happy to hear other people would be interested in trying to put life back into it.

Also if Pervical wanted to know anything more about the plants / garden's Haru has growing here she would be more than willing to share info.

He's been interested ever since she mentioned it to him! We already talked about this but I'm more than willing to backtag or handwave her involvement, but she certainly has the right to be a part of this considering how concerned she's been since day one.

And he would definitely ask her about what she knows, as well as love to help with her garden! Even if it's just for research or lowkey out of kindness, haha.

Julius is extremely interested in plants in general, so he'd be super into helping out. His magic is to make plants grow using his own life force so he'll probably decide to sit in it and see if he can heal them with that. Otherwise he's kind of a treelike being himself so I'll check in with the mods if he's able to sense anything from the earth.

Julius, the local tree, has to be here for this okay.

I'm all for seeing what he can do, and if that isn't effective Percival would still love to have more people researching this with him. Especially a real life tree, the fuck.

Yuuko has interest in this. She's been collecting new seeds from the last world, and has had other people doing it for her. She would like to plant those and replace any trees that can't be saved/died already. She has powers that help things grow so she can kick off this new garden very quickly.

I saw that she was trying to do something as well! That would be incredibly efficient and Percival would absolutely be for that, and would see if they could look into which new species could potentially through the ecosystem off balance and whatnot. He's all for recycling life, so hell ye, let's start impacting the environment.

Super excellent! I wanted to throw up a tree long at some point once we get on a new month. (There's people that found seeds and such so people can state what kind of veggies/fruits are now here) but if you had something else planned I can ride off of that long instead.

THAT ASIDE, Jude is 100000% interested in this. His entire field of work in canon revolves entirely around similar issues. And Jude is pretty good at making people or trees happy. ♥

Jude is definitely someone who Percival would like to see getting in on this! He's both a ray of sunshine and a skilled scientist, it's a two-in-one deal, who could resist. He'd certainly enjoy hearing his input!
