[ Riko still can't believe that she woke up on an unknown island instead of her room. Pinching her hand didn't help at all, even though it should. This isn't real, right? This is just some kind of a vivid dream—that's what Riko keeps telling herself, at least. Every time she repeats that out loud, it becomes more and more clear that she might be wrong.
That leads to another question, however. Where are they, exactly? Getting an answer to that proves to be more difficult than she considered it to be. While she's been trying to find out what island is this, Riko takes a sight of Dia and approaches the other girl after wiping her eyes and making sure she's not just imagining her.
It's truly reassuring to see someone familiar, despite the bizarre situation they've found themselves in. Riko, who's been squealing at almost every single thing she encountered (honorable mention goes to the boar), manages to calm down a little. At least until they're told that they should pick a hut.
Why would they need a hut, they're going home soon, Riko simply doesn't understand. They have something very important to do there.
The thought that they really may have to stay here much longer is quite upsetting, but it sinks in when they're closer to the huts. ]
Dia-san...do you think it's really alright for us to go inside? Wouldn't that be trespassing?
[ There's simply no telling which huts are vacant and which ones are not. Especially not from the outside. ]
