BARRIER QUEST 3.0 update!

This is just a note that you can find toplevels for IC discussion and IC participation in BARRIER QUEST in the post-Uvi exploration log from last week! (I just added a toplevel for people to thread out collecting the bones, bringing them to the island, etc.)

The mods have said that our final BARRIER QUEST log (subtitle: Actually Getting Past The Barrier) is pending a final plan from us about what our characters are ICly doing to take down the barrier, so I'll be writing that up tonight and sending it to them. This is what I have so far:

• Jumin and the water manipulators (Moon, Mikleo, Xion) can move the Elto bones without touching them, and 9S and Alphonse are working together to develop some kind of insulation system to separate and carry the bones without overwhelming any one person. Julius can also touch the bones without being shocked. They will work together to transport the bones up to the island, in multiple loads if necessary.


• Those loads will be carried to the island using the dummy submarine/dragon system we used for BARRIER QUEST 2.0.


• Once there, they will be arranged in groups of 10-15 (this being about the most that any individual person can handle) along the edge of the barrier, spaced out at various points.


• Theoretically, once a sufficent number are placed around the barrier, the barrier should come down.


• ETA: They will also be asking along a number of Eltos to help direct the energy in the bones towards taking down the barrier, if necessary.

I'm guessing (and would suggest) that a couple of Eltos who are interested in what's behind the barrier -- perhaps, at least, the Palai trio that came with the group last barrierquest -- come up as well to try to utilize some of the bones' power. It might work a little better if someone's present who can manipulate the bones with the same kind of energy.

Also, thank you as always for your many organizational efforts around the barrier plot!
