OOC NOTES

▢ Reserves are upon us and EMP went up today! The enabling race starts now. Just remember that apps are open from the 1st through the 5th since there's still been some misinformation about this floating around. Before confirming dates with anyone interested, make sure you check the calendar, which should reflect the app cycle dates now. ▢ If you have EMP requests, the mod comment is already posted, but feel free to comment to the EMP castmate request thread with your CR desires! ▢ AC time is also upon us! Those who have Hiatuses are marked as such and new members who only owe half AC are marked in green. Make sure that you get in your AC bonuses because they will play a part in upcoming events. ▢ Also, make sure that you have your information posted to the OOC Contact Post. When processing drops, some characters didn't have their information posted here, and it's paramount that you have it listed! ▢ Remember that if your character does something major that would affect multiple characters or the game's cast as a whole, please detail this activity here so that the setting and plot can be adjusted accordingly! ▢ World One is coming to a close -- not immediately, but soon. The coven will be returning to the Hub during mid or late September.

IC EVENTS

▢ The Palai mating season is still in full swing. During the second week of this season, the Lyna begin creating a special pheramone potion that is traditional as the week winds to a close and Palai begin to make their partnership choices. While the intended targets are the Palai, of course, these hormones also affect humanoid coven members. The effects can range from flushed lightheadedness to unabashed affectionate behavior. ▢ Based on the results of the speed dating log, the Palai will obviously be rooting for unity within the coven. Some "successful" attempts at matchmaking will be noticed by the Palai, who will try their best to convince others to help these pairings along. Post here with a thread you want to volunteer for tribute -- the characters within this thread will have goods devoted to them made by the Palai, and gossip will be started about them in an effort to ~strengthen their bond~. It's the Palai version of shipping, tbh. ▢ The week will go by relatively uneventful -- that is until the 1st of September. The reason for the small, managable Uvi attack was that the Uvi took their recent assault plans very seriously. Instead of attacking in a massive hoard, they decided to send out a smaller battle team to knock the Uvi off guard. On the 1st and through the 2nd, there will be a massive Uvi attack that is entirely unprescidented and catches the Palai people off guard, especially during a time where their people are supposed to be at peace -- more peace than normal, anyway. There will be casualties because of the large force of the attack -- there will be at least 500 Uvi, if not more. ▢ There won't be a log for this surprise attack, though reactions are encouraged in personal logs and telepathy posts, mostly to denote the chaos and uncontrolled aspect of the event. A post will go up marking when the attack starts, which will be earlier than most posts which are put up at ~8 PM EST.
