Surprised by Gohan's sheer politeness in what must have been a very confusing and debilitating moment, Zaratras couldn't help but roll his head back and laugh. He tightened one hand on Gohan's shoulder lightly--clearly just to keep himself from falling back. Somehow, Gohan reminded him very much of his little brother. Dreyfus was a grown man by that point but sometimes he swore the man acted like the little boy who used to compete with him when they were children. He was always polite and meek, wanting to avoid troubling others who would be concerned with him.

"Oh, don't worry about apologizing to me! If you're in pain, feel free to complain!" Though, his smile became hollow by the end. In the same vein, Zaratras recalled that last memory of a weak heart ceasing when a dozen spears were shoved through him in an effort to keep him down for good.

"Either way, you look fine to me! So, let's be thankful that you're in good condition for the moment."
