[It seems one of the older Palai wants Velvet as their sparring partner for some odd reason! They're following behind her closely as she tries to make her way forward, ignoring them to the best of her ability.]

I told you already. I'm not interested in fighting you. Now get out of here before you regret it.

[Despite her threats, the Palai keeps close to her and even grabs onto her bandaged arm. At this, Velvet flinches, brandishing her arm and revealing its true daemonic form. She shakes off the Palai who stares in both wonder and fear.]

I did warn you.

[Awestruck, the Palai doesn't even attempt to run away as Velvet grabs them with her daemon arm. She crushes their head in her claws easily, her expression more tired than anything. Once she's finished devouring it, her arm reverts to normal and she flips back her hair to be on her way.]

[Gritting her teeth, she's about ready to kill everyone here, especially with that first question. But she already killed one Palai, so she should probably take it easy for now. Just get this over with, she tells herself.]

Someone who knows when to shut up.

[Whatever food's shoved in her face, Velvet quickly eats it. As the Palai look to her for a seal of approval, she simply shrugs.]

Tastes fine.

[When they hand her another special fish dish, she hands it off to whoever's close by.]

[Is that her endorsement? She doesn't seem to care either way. Hint: the food actually tastes awful.]
