it wasn't bad for me bc i already like japanese food and plenty of other things in the culture and i knew enough of the langusge to not have trouble doing things or making friends. it's not that difficult imo unless you don't know any japanese, hate something that's common in the food like fish or rice, or something. and at least on jet you get help from your supervisor or coworkers with finer details like bank acct and stuff. i also like living alone so thats easy too pff.
