[Waver's pretty okay with the silence. It's one of the pretty normal reactions to the whole coven thing, and that's not even getting into more of the particulars.

For him, it was easy. There's enough theories of magic to justify Qri and the host of things the coven meant. Alternate timelines and the ability to hop from one to the other is just one of them.

The thing that does surprise him is the change in scenery. It's...it's like a fade, with elements gently morphing and changing until city has given way to a forest in a way that feels alarmingly natural.

He matches serious tone to serious tone, the bratiness of earlier now totally gone.]

It's essentially a group of individuals from various points in time and space, gathered together in one location. The witch who's nominally in charge, and I say this because she's aloof and rarely shows her face, needs to gather energy. Everyone's got doubts about this, which probably isn't too surprising.
