[It's indeed a little more desolate-looking out here, especially as you move more towards the outskirts of the city and into the rockier areas -- it's a little more familiar to Lenka without all the lush greenery of the island or the hustle and bustle of the strange small lizard people. Still, it's not bad to have a break.

Anyway, there are shrubs, which are unremarkable except for the fact that they're all leaning strangely in one direction. It catches Lenka's attention in a city where most of the few plants are pretty tame -- but he doesn't actually realize Julius is a person at first. He looks more like a statue. Maybe he's a garden ornament.

Let's say they've just arrived in the city, because why not, and have gotten their supplies. Lenka is just going to... absently try to hang his felt sack on him so he can rummage through his things, make sure they're all there, maybe see if he remembered to bring any snacks for the road and if they're edible.
