[Finding himself in a completely new world is the story of Riku's life, except for the fact that he usually remembers why and how he's gotten to said new world. This time he's just...blank. Like he was on Destiny Island one minute and the next he's here. Wherever...here happens to be.
Scanning his surroundings, there doesn't appear to be anything wanting to attack him, so he doesn't bother trying to summon his Keyblade. Instead, all he sees is a caravan parked before him with a bunch of supplies sitting outside.
Riku approaches it, part in curiosity and part to double check that nothing dangerous is hiding there waiting to spring out at him. He can be found rummaging through bags or giving them suspicious side-eyes. Eventually his suspicions turn down a dial and he begins searching for a map or something that will give him an idea of where he is.
But maybe you stumble upon him a little too late, when he's let his guard down a little too much, and made the mistake of leaning back against the caravan. And got stuck. His entire back...stuck to the side of the caravan.]

[Riku has met a bunch of unusual people along his journey, but the Palai are by far the most cumbersome to deal with. If they're not staring, they're approaching him and asking him questions. He's never had a native people take such interest in him before. It's a little off-putting.
One Palai even loudly asks him how he gets his hair to be so white and silky and he hides his face in his hand.]
I need to get away. I desperately need to get away. There has to be an opening somewhere...
[His thoughts are quick and awful loud, making them very easy to hear for anyone who might be around. He's definitely not broadcasting on purpose.]

[Once making it to the Marketplace, Riku is hoping to find some needed supplies of his own. A change of clothes that actually fits being top of his priority list. However, he's quickly distracted by all of the unfamiliar technology he sees on display.
He approaches a table set up with cell phone displays and picks on up, turning it back and forth. It has a tiny screen and a bunch of buttons. But what does it do?
If you happen to be standing nearby, the teen will turn to you, brandishing the cell phone.]
Do you know what this is?

[Riku happens to be strolling by a certain house near the marketplace when he notices a large ball hurling towards him. His reflexes, but they wouldn't be quick enough to dodge the ball at the speed it's coming towards him at.
A split second passes where he's accepted the fact that he's going to be hit by this ball, but then...it doesn't happen. The ball comes a few inches from his face and then bounces off, like there's an invisible barrier between it and Riku's face.]
What in the world...?
[A bunch of juvenile Palai come running up, apologizing and asking for their ball. Riku crouches down and reaches for it, intending to toss it to them.]
You kids need to be more careful. [And..uh..his hand isn't touching the ball but hovering just above it. He can't seem to get it any closer. Um.
