COPOUT / SHEHUI INFILTRATION PLANS

 Hi! This is essentially a signup sheet. So to reiterate what was said here and here:

A potential plan a few members of the coven currently have is to infiltrate the government building in which our lovely fellow coven members are being held in by pretending to be officers. The basic components of this plan are:

• a group of individuals disguised as officers -- primary infiltrators who are busting into this building by pretending to tame our decoys

• a group of decoys; people willing to serve as a distraction, and in essence, get physical/blow Things Up in a more blatant attempt to raid the building 

• everyone and anyone else! healers, those looking to gather intelligence, people willing to create distractions across the city to establish more of a stir. anything goes! nothing is limited to these two groups, this is just an idea in the works so please contribute any input as you see fit!

Some details as to what the location we should, ideally, be infiltrating consists of:

• an old, worn down building
• a manhole that leads to...
• a high tech, encrypted door that will require a long period of intensive hacking

roy can convince people of things and control emotions, to a certain extent, with his powers! he could likely get someone into a false sense of security and use his magic to calm them down into letting them past. he's also very charming. and because he doesn't have his alchemy, it's not like he can really blow shit up, otherwise he would 100% be on team destroy things.

Ah, I see you could use a Scanner. Hacking is something he was built to do, and as a piece of technology from the distant future, he should be more than qualified for the task.

Sort of! That would've probably been a better way to describe it. It's more like a manipulation of emotion and lulling someone into a false sense of security. Like if someone wants to shoot you, Roy is like "this is probably a better way to do that."

That's a handy power. 9S has hypnotic suggestion-like magic himself but hasn't figured it out in months. That sounds like such a cool power for Roy to use.

Jay would be down for organizing an information-gathering team? The idea would be that a small team would use a combination of COPS / good old-fashioned stealth to break into the hideout and any other known Important Government Buildings looking for information about

a) anything that might lead to the whereabouts of Qri
b) what is outside the barrier/Shehui
c) anything Shehui officials have planned for the coven in general and their captives in particular
d) other TOP SECRET stuff?? IDK PEOPLE SUGGEST STUFF TO ME the basic idea here is that Jay is looking first for an exit strategy (via Qri or getting the hell out of Shehui) and secondly, if that doesn't pan out, for more information on what they're facing.

Let me know whether your character would be down for this / what they could contribute in the way of stealth/infiltration? AND ALSO IF YOU HAVE IDEAS ON WHAT THEY SHOULD BE LOOKING FOR since this idea is obviously sort of vague.

I am, uh. Terezi may join the main decoy force but I am also thinking of having her essentially, stage another distraction by repeatedly demonstrating her (highly visible and obtrusive) form of magic in public, cue possible Benny Hill chase when the monitors get ahold of this. SHE CAN BE DISSUADED FROM THIS if people in charge think it would be more obtrusive than helpful, but there's an idea.

Anyone who also has a easily visible power and doesn't mind risking their own neck a bit is welcome to join her!

I'm unsure of where Waver would be most useful, so I'm going to plop him down here and let y'all decide. The boy can make smokescreens for whichever team needs it, I just don't know which would be the better fit.

Amanda could do a couple different things - she can get around really quickly in the air, so she could be part of the diversion or just eyes in the sky to provide a vantage point. She can carry people around - one or two, depending on size - without losing toooo much speed. Just be warned she's super impatient and a little fixated on Ruby in particular right now.
