. . . hi again, Spellbind . . .

Jay is putting up an IC BOUNTY BOARD for characters in the coven to make and fill requests of each other. (It will probably debut IC in the newbie intro log, or in a separate post around that time.)

How this works:

You have a request! (Let's say your character is a part of CABIN QUEST and needs cloth for beds.) You post that request on the bounty board under the appropriate sheet (CLOTH FOR BEDS. "We are trying to build beds for our cabins, but we have no cloth. Anyone with extra cloth or expertise in making cloth please contact us.") along with, optionally, an IC reward.

Someone else comes along, says, "Hey! My character could fill that request!" and puts down their character's name and their contact information in the FILLED BY section. They then shoot a message over to the poster, either ICly or OOCly, to let them know the request has been filled.

Optional: plotting ensues! In the case of the CLOTH FOR BEDS. example, your character might have their request filled by an offer for lessons (in spinning flax or otherwise making cloth), or you may just want to play out the exchange of goods for a reward!

In the case of requests that are involved projects (such as the mill or the tannery), you might consider the person listed as the filler as the project leader, rather than assuming one person is doing the work of building a mill by themselves. The person who "fills" the request should then feel free to do any plotting, soliciting of additional volunteers, etc. they would like to get the project going! If you see a project that you'd like to participate in and it's already filled by someone, feel free to contact them OOCly and ask if there's anything your character can do to help.

This is for fun and to facilitate mini-plots/CR-building interactions between players, so feel free to handwave and say "my character used the bounty board to get X available resource," if that's more convenient for you. At the same time, if your character would put up joke requests, demand a cadre of people to feed them meat-grapes while fanning them, etc., you can post that to the board too!
