It doesn't surprise me in the least that the Elrics are the only individuals from Amestris that have managed to find themselves in a completely different universe.

I've figured out most of it.

[ indeed, roy is not one to stand around and wait to be told, though he did waste time wandering about to get a lay of the land and to attempt to find hawkeye and the ishvalan crew he had just been with prior to being kidnapped. not finding either party (though, admittedly, roy was more concerned about finding the ishvalan crew than riza, who can definitely take care of herself), he settled on obtaining information instead.

and, in a show of this information, roy continues, his tone sounding a bit -- well, not bored, but definitely with a bit of an exhaling sigh to the words; ]

Alchemy is ineffective, we were kidnapped by a witch, magic is real, ghosts walk the earth, and boars have gone rabid.

[ the last one, in particular, has been annoying, especially given the flame alchemist cannot produce, y'know, flames. ]

All in all, less bizarre than what Amestris just went through, but still bordering on impossible.
