riza hawkeye { fma:b }

PROMPT A
[ when riza comes to, it's with a slow blink - like she hadn't quite expected her eyes to actually open, and now that they had, she's trying to place herself in the rest of it. not only that, but upon trying to check her bosy - to figure out why and how, she notices a few key things.

one - she is alive. or. relatively.

two - she is transluscent. or, at the very least, fades in an out of solidity. one moment she is looking at her hands and the next she is looking through them. she doesn't quite understand how, or why, but the longer the shifting of her mass happens, the more she almost feels her body doing the same.

third - she is alone. the last thing she remembers were bodies, people, the colonel, and now? none of those things. she's not even underground, anymore, which seems impossible, but also a huge relief.

or - really - she's not. not alone. because around her are all types of others that seem similar to her. ghosts, almost, made of almost-mass and almost-people. she can't seem to get any of them to respond to her, despite the way their mouths move (almost-helpful, really) so riza keeps moving. keeps trying to find someone that will explain what is going on. that will help her.

granted, she is something of a sight to see for anyone she approaches - fading in and out of existence, sometimes entirely whole and others only partially there. though while her transluscence may seem more difficult to wrap heads around, the more solid she becomes, the more gorey it all turns out to be, with a massive amount of blood staining one shoulder and up the side of her neck, across her front. the stains are more obvious on her jacket, as it is light and her shirt is black, but you can imagine the blood continues all across the fabric. it's not actively bleeding, thankfully, but the stains are certainly still there. ]

Excuse me- [ riza is exhausted, but she keeps moving anyway. needing to find someone to explain this to her. where she is, what is going on, why she is apparently a ghost.

she's not quite letting herself explore the most logial explanation yet, though it sits right in the back of her head. a very distant, quiet, echoing sort of explanation.

she didn't make it ]

Do you know what's going on?

PROMPT I
[ wildcard it! start with anything and i'll match! c: ]
