As far as I can tell, everyone uses magic as kind of a catchall. Sometimes it's for abilities we don't really understand, like the ones from Qri. And other times I think it's just an issue of terminology. Other worlds have different laws from ours, but it doesn't mean the things they're calling magic can't be explained.
